There is a fine line between an ambitious theater production, and then there is suicide.

Building a pop-up theater in a half abandoned 1900’s  brewery, refusing to use safety lines, having the most deranged brass band  in all of New York City- Stumblebum Brass Band- write your whole score, and casting a bunch of ballerinas who have a love affair with bourbon are all senseless risks to take when putting on a show. This is going to be a dark and terrifying undertaking for all of those involved, but  even if the worst comes to worst, at least we can whole heartedly promise The Horror Show will be highly entertaining.

Written, directed and produced by Anya Sapozhnikova

Trailer

Unlike previous Lady Circus productions, the dance numbers, choreographed by Brett Lord, are just as death defying as the acrobatics in the air. Like previous House of Yes productions, the show is packed with theatrical feats, bourbon will flow cheaply and the 4th wall never existed in the first place.

The cast: Anya Sapozhnikova, Jordann Baker, Kathryn van Assche, Lori Barber and Brett Lord (known to some as Carrie Ca$h) The infamous Albert Cadabra will be joining the cast as the Master of Ceremonies.

Thursday, October 28th; Friday, October 29th.

For this incarnation, we are creating a pop-up theater from scratch using an early 1900’s style brewery located at 260 Meserole St in Bushwick, Brooklyn.
