The Horror Show is circus meets ballet meets nightmare. Written, directed and produced by Anya Sapozhnikova, the show is built out of darkness, sex and hot jazz. Taking place in New Orleans (specifically at 1140 Royal St, 615 Toulouse St, and 635 City Park Ave), set to the whiskey soaked music of the Stumblebum Brass Band, the show follows a love triangle from inception to demise.
Unlike previous Lady Circus productions, the dance numbers, choreographed by Brett Lord, are just as death defying as the acrobatics in the air. Like previous House of Yes productions, the show is packed with theatrical feats, bourbon will flow cheaply and the 4th wall never existed in the first place.
The cast: Kathryn van Assche, Megan Hornaday, Nikki Nasto and Brett Lord (known to some as Carrie Ca$h) join longtime Lady Circus members Lori Barber, Jordann Baker and Anya Sapozhnikova.
Tickets are $20 presale, with a limited number of $30 front row seats and go on sale Monday, May 3rd.
The show will run
Friday, May 14th; Saturday, May 15th,
Thursday May 20th, Friday May 21st, and Saturday, May 22nd.
Doors open at 8:00pm and the show will start at 9:00.
